Just want to share the new Baby Universe website. I re-designed their baby directory’s website last year but Kate and Richard just recently moved to WordPress platform and the new look looks charming. So happy with how it looks like. Two years ago I started Lollipop Baby as a groovy & personalised baby apparel and nursery art prints. This was the days before Facebook had only just started (although I couldn’t really remember life before Facebook – I must have had much done those days!). Over the years, the brand has evolved so much that now we have become a solid boutique graphic design studio (little one but big dream!) that offers service to small businesses and WAHMs. So it’s only natural that we rebranded, get rid of the kid-feel branding (even though large list of our clientele comes from baby & kid industry so our old branding wasn’t really out of place) – we feel that it’s about time to be have brand that caters to wider audience and bigger business clientele.

Leah from I heart Table Art wanted something elegant, feminine and classic and she mentioned about peacock….. What could be better idea than that? Here is what we came up with! Visit her facebook page to see her dessert table creations.

Kat from Build A Site approached me on behalf of her client. We did this on a very record time from designing a logo to creating the web design using My Shop Hosting e-commerce. I’ve worked so many times with Kat before and have always been delighted with our collaborations but I have to say this one is one of my favorites. We didn’t even customised the whole site, we only changed the header and adding the homepage image and some buttons but it sure looks like one of a kind!

Since I have merged my old Lollipop Baby FB page and the new one, I managed to gain my old likers and so this competition, which originally will finish as soon as I reach 350 likers are not relevant anymore. Therefore, the winner will be drawn on Sunday the 18th March!

Here’s the explanation of the banner, from the mouth of Kat my client:

“This is Ides. Now what crazy imagination would come with such an odd character?

Ides is really a slang way of me saying ‘If only I had found it on the Wall’ – as in - this wall! Instead I thought we’d replace I with Ides and slang it out as ‘If only Ides’ found it on the Wall’

And that is the point – if only Ides’ found it on the wall… if only I had found it on the wall… get it?

I know… from a warped mind really ;-P”

Kate & Richard from Baby Universe approached me to revamp their existing baby product directory website and create a new logo for it. Kate has been my client forever, I created a few more logos for their other businesses and I always enjoy working for her. The design is based on their existing lay out.
