We are Paying It Forward by giving away one $100 credits for yourself or TWO $100 credits for one person and his/her nominated friend (so that’s $100 credit each) to be used towards my services.

Last year I had this competition on my Facebook and it went so well so this year, to kickstart the New Year and to show my appreciation for those businesses who have been supporting me, I would like to do another RAOK to all the beautiful small business owners out there. • This competition is open for anyone – my existing customers or new ones, business owners or personals. You can nominate yourself or your business (you will receive $100 credit for yourself as the prize if you win) , or you can pay it forward to someone you know by nominating them and receive $100 credit each for yourself and your friend if you win. You can only nominate one person/business, but can be nominated more than once, giving more chances for you and a friend to win. Please give a short reason why you or the person/business you nominate should win or why you would like to win. Winner will be chosen based on his/her entry – so be creative/original/aspiring!

Here’s the explanation of the banner, from the mouth of Kat my client:

“This is Ides. Now what crazy imagination would come with such an odd character?

Ides is really a slang way of me saying ‘If only I had found it on the Wall’ – as in - this wall! Instead I thought we’d replace I with Ides and slang it out as ‘If only Ides’ found it on the Wall’

And that is the point – if only Ides’ found it on the wall… if only I had found it on the wall… get it?

I know… from a warped mind really ;-P”

Kate & Richard from Baby Universe approached me to revamp their existing baby product directory website and create a new logo for it. Kate has been my client forever, I created a few more logos for their other businesses and I always enjoy working for her. The design is based on their existing lay out.

Oops – I’ve been snowed under for the last few months (since the last post in fact!). Had a few exciting jobs that I am ready to share – just didn’t have the time! So I am doing speedy posts on them!
We launched Bobbybelle site in August using BigCommerce e-commerce, with a fully customised template. Ebonny wanted something quirky and a bit of gothic (but I talked her into the panda and she loved it!).

Wham bham – had a challenge to create 5 designs for bag tags and luggage tags for The Bag Tag Studio. If you are a jetsetter (or even the wannabees just like me) or you need bagtags for your kids school bags, have a look at their collection.

Rachel from Little Poppet is setting up her (babies) sleeping bag business and she knew she wanted to have owl in the her logo (as it’s so apt). She also knew what font colour that she would like to use for the logo, so the challenge is to make it one of a kind. I hope we achieved that! Woo hoo watch out all the Thermomix users – Thermovixens are here. Cass & Megan are two self-confessed Thermomix-holics and they have asked me to create a logo for their blog & their Facebook Page, where they exchange all Thermomix recipes. I only had just heard about the Thermomix and I wish I was paid with one of them!!!
