I just came across this — How cool are these creatures? As a graphic designer I am drawn into shapes and colours and these one-piece papertoys are my new toys! Created by Marshall Alexander, a paper engineer (wow what a profession!) these models consist of single flat piece of paper, which by intricate folding is transformed into a 3-dimensional model. Great toys!

Anyone throwing a baby shower? Here is an invitation (inspired by my BFF’s pregnancy ) that you can download and edit on pdf with your own information and voila — print them with your full colour printer.
After you download the pdf file, open it with your Adobe reader and click on the areas which need to be filled. All are already formatted so all you need to do is enter the name of the Mum to be and other information.
Once you have done it, send it to your printer. Make sure you set the printer to print on borderless paper (if the option is available). The final size of this invitation is A6 and each page has 4 invitations on it.

We are counting down to Mother’s Day. It’s my second Mother’s Day, and classic it may sound, all I want for Mother’s Day is a sleep-in (but wouldn’t mind a diamong ring thrown in it anyway!)
Just a little freebie that I made this morning if you are looking for a simple Mother’s Day card, using one of our Mother’s Day collection baby t-shirt/onesie designs. The inside has a ‘ Happy Mother’s Day’ greeting in the same font.
This is a quarter page folded greeting card, which means that you fold an A4 sheet of paper in half and fold again to create a single greeting card. Fits easily in C6 envelope.

This month, our little Lollipop turned two. Or I should repeat it – TWO (oh time flies)!! Hence my project for this month was children’s party invitation. I thought the animals from our Lollipop Baby designs are good for something unisex — so this is what I came up with.
I made it so that the final size of each invitation is A6 (105x148mm) to fit C6 envelope (which you can get anywhere) when you print them on A4 page (four on each page). Any paper stock will do but I would print it on a slightly thick stock so it doesn’t get bent in transit. You can also print them on slightly off-white paper stock to make them look nicer but make sure that the colour is not too dark otherwise the print would not come out.

All you need to do is print the file on heavy stock paper, cut them out and voila!! You can send them to your favourite people!
