And there are a few more cooking at the moment that I just can’t wait to show off!
I found this beautiful poem “the invitation’ by Oriah Mountain Dreamer in my old blog today – forgot that I even put it there.
The Invitation
It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living.
I want to know what you ache for
and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing.
It doesn’t interest me how old you are.
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool
for love
for your dream
for the adventure of being alive.
It doesn’t interest me what planets are squaring your moon…
I want to know if you have touched the centre of your own sorrow
if you have been opened by life’s betrayals
or have become shrivelled and closed
from fear of further pain.
I want to know if you can sit with pain
mine or your own
without moving to hide it
or fade it
or fix it.
I want to know if you can be with joy
mine or your own
if you can dance with wildness
and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes
without cautioning us
to be careful
to be realistic
to remember the limitations of being human.
It doesn’t interest me if the story you are telling me
is true.
I want to know if you can
disappoint another
to be true to yourself.
If you can bear the accusation of betrayal
and not betray your own soul.
If you can be faithless
and therefore trustworthy.
I want to know if you can see Beauty
even when it is not pretty
every day.
And if you can source your own life
from its presence.
I want to know if you can live with failure
yours and mine
and still stand at the edge of the lake
and shout to the silver of the full moon,
“Yes.”
It doesn’t interest me
to know where you live or how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up
after the night of grief and despair
weary and bruised to the bone
and do what needs to be done
to feed the children.
It doesn’t interest me who you know
or how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand
in the centre of the fire
with me
and not shrink back.
It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom
you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you
from the inside
when all else falls away.
I want to know if you can be alone
with yourself
and if you truly like the company you keep
in the empty moments.
Here is a little thing I whipped out today from one of our t-shirt/onesie designs. You can now download this cute circus elephant colour-in to keep your little ones busy (well, if they are anything like my little one, at least for a few minutes).
You are more than welcome to photocopy or distribute this but please respect our copyright by not removing Lollipop Baby from the page.

A photographer friend came over from Sydney for the Easter holiday so we had a little pregnancy photo session. I wasn’t going to show my tummy to the world but they came out very good that I just had to share them!
The bub is cooking fine. I have about 7-8 weeks left out and have been so busy ever with some graphic design jobs and running around my 3 years old that it just seems to go so quick. Starting to get nervous about it but also getting excited about meeting the newest member of the family!

Another design from Lollipop Baby – I was going to have one design as unisex design but decided to have two colours as one is more girlish and the other is more boyish.
They are available in baby onesie and t-shirt, personalisable with the baby’s name. Perfect for the special occasions & gifts!

I was looking for some theme for our nursery room the other day – and I just couldn’t make up my mind about which theme I want to go ahead. Started from doing some birdies/owls theme I ended up wanting to have car theme. I wish someone would make me to make up my mind.
Anyway – having thought of car theme, i actually came up with this new design for boys. They are available now from Lollipop Baby website – personalisable with your Baby Boy’s name.

If I haven’t been around much lately, haven’t really updated my tweets as much — it’s because of this. We are expecting number two, and this little one is due in June! Just can’t believe it’s already 27 weeks and I am already in the third trimester!
Little Olli-pop is getting excited about it. We started mentioning the baby to him and he would pat my tummy and said “baby in mummy’s tummy”. Daddy & him start to read “There is a house in Mummy” and I am quite surprise that this 3 years old seems to understand more than we thought he would be.
I am very much well – and compared to the first pregnancy this one feels like a breeze and goes so fast. But really, who would have time to think about it when you have a 3 years old that you need to entertain the whole time!! I am looking forward to meeting the baby in the real life — but not really looking forward to the sleepless nights again
xx
It’s my little Lollipop’s third birthday this Saturday and I decided that we are throwing him a Digger & Truck Party! With number two on a way (due to arrive in June) I figured that this is the last chance for him to get the attention for himself. Mind you, I am such an awful party planner but I quite enjoy putting together bits & pieces for the party. Just finished printing the t-shirt for the occasion – and being the Mrs Lollipop of course I took fully advantage to get the t-shirt personalised with his name.
Here is the sneak preview of it
. Now off to think about the menu…. Wish us luck with the weather!!
